Terms and Conditions

1. Fees Must be paid in advance of lessons. 

2. Payment Plan Option - Booking Deposit of €50 & payments made on monthly basis via Standing Order. 

3. Booking Deposit includes Manuscript notebook and class notes. Students must bring books and materials to each and every class, and homework must be done on time. 

4. Pay securely online in the 'Store' Section using PayPal or via Bank Transfer or Cheque. IBAN printed on Email Invoice.

5. If a lesson is missed, we will do our best to rescheduled if the Timetable allows. 

6. Instrument available to use in class until students purchases their own. Instrument Loan cannot be organised at this time. We will do our best to assist and give recommendations re the purchase of instruments.

Enrolment Forms must be signed and returned promptly. We store all contact information securely and will never share your details with a third party without your consent. 

8. Practice is Vital for good progress. Regular - daily - consistent practice with home participation is beneficial.

9. Mock Exams will take place during the year - date to be confirmed.

10. In Term 2, all students have the opportunity to join an Ensemble. There will be concerts and performances throughout the year. More details to be announced later in Term 1. 

11. Absence and Timekeeping: If a teacher is away, a substitute teacher may be provided, otherwise the class will be rescheduled. Any owed lessons will be made up at the end of Term or as soon as an opportunity arises in the Timetable. If a students will be absent, please inform us as soon as possible so we can make arrangements to rearrange the lesson. 

12. Please respect the lesson times of other students, and if a parent wishes to speak to us please telephone or make an appointment outside of lesson time. 

13. Fees for summer exams will be due in Term 2. Full details will be given well in advance of the application closing date. We arrange a Piano Accompanist for the exam and a rehearsal two weeks before the exam date.
14. Bad behaviour will not be tolerated, and anyone deemed to be causing problems for either staff, students or parents may be asked to leave the Academy. 

15. Please collect students promptly after lessons, and notify us if there will be anybody else collecting or  dropping off children at the Academy.
