Playing an instrument has been scientifically proven to help children's cognitive development.
Studies have shown how brain function & structure is further developed by learning an instrument, along with emotional and social development. Students learn how to play an instrument with correct posture and technique plus option to join Group Musicianship Class plus Ensemble Group after their second term.

One to One Instrument Tuition with option to complete Grade Exams through professionally recognised organisations such as:

The Royal Irish Academy of Music, The Leinster School of Music and Drama, The Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music, RGT Ireland and Rockschool. All components of the exam syllabus are covered in class - set pieces, studies, scales, sight-reading, aural skills & theory. ♫ Traditional Irish Music  ♫

SCT ( Scrúdú Ceol Tíre) Grade Exams in Traditional Wooden Flute & Fiddle through Comhaltas Ceoltoiri Eireann. The exams are held in summer at the Clasac Cultural Centre in Clontarf. All components of the exam syllabus are covered in class - tune selection, repertoire, discussion, aural skills and theory. (https://comhaltas.ie/education/sct_exam/)

Beginner Adult classes also available on Tuesday & Thursday mornings between 10am -12pm

Saturday morning from 10am to 2pm.


Learn how to read and write music, develop composition & aural skills and option to complete grade exams through the Royal Irish Academy of Music (RIAM) or the ABRSM. Exams are held at the end of each school year and graded from 1 - 8. Musicianship is very beneficial to students studying Music as a Secondary School subject.

Courses and Grinds for Junior & Leaving Certificate Music. Performance Techniques workshops focusing on the Practical Component of the Junior & Leaving Cert Examinations and on the main areas of Listening, Composition and Harmony. Books and resources available for the Irish History element of the syllabus and Past Papers. Easter, Summer & Weekend Revision Courses available. 


Ideal for students who would like to learn with a friend or sibling or to learn in a more social environment. Learning to play together in a group helps to build confidence and social skills. Students are grouped into different classes according to their age, instrument and musical experience: Beginners, Intermediate & Advanced. 
Some music theory and aural training is covered in classes, but it is recommended that students would benefit greatly from studying Music Theory as a separate subject if they are wishing to study Music in Secondary School or study a Grade Exam syllabus.

For young music enthusiasts aged between 4 to 6 years, students are taught the basic elements of music through singing, movement, learning an introduction to different instruments, and writing music in a fun way through games, arts & crafts.

Learn the basics of rhythm and melody through singing  songs, tunes and nursery rhymes, which develops a good sense of tonality and listenings skills. 

Learn how to play melody instruments like the Ukulele, Keyboard and Tin-whistle. 

Develop an appreciation for all genres of music by listening to various composers, artists, groups and bands.

♫ The Tea Sessions - Music for Adult Beginners ♫

Learn to play your favourite songs or tunes with others in a relaxed learning environment.
For those who wish to learn the basics or expand their knowledge and gain a deeper appreciation for many genres of music.
An Intro to Fiddle, Banjo, Bodhran, Guitar, Ukelele & Piano or bring your own instrument and improve your current standard.
We welcome repertoire suggestions & requests.
