Choice of Instruments:
Our standard Trio is Violin, Traditional Irish Flute and Guitar. We work with an excellent network of musicians from all over Ireland whom we have played with in various ensembles for many years, at home and overseas. Other instruments may include (subject to availability): Piano, Harp, Vocalist, Second Violin, Cello, Oboe, Concertina, Banjo. Any other suggestions are welcome. All musicians are highly qualified and have vast performance experience; All-Ireland competition winners and members of Internationally acclaimed groups.
Ceremony:
In a Civil Ceremony, there may be music at the entrance and exit, if it is a short blessing for example. We would suggest that couples choose their favourite pieces, and liaise with their celebrant as to where they might be most fitting.

Music for the Drinks Reception/Canapés may be an acoustic instrumental set, or something more lively with full PA, singing or crowd participation for larger audiences.
--------------
The Sarah May Rogers band is a Gypsy Jazz Trio with Violin, Guitar and Double Bass - good and lively to get the feet tapping! For a quieter set, we can tone it down with more instrumental numbers. Harmonies and a mix of covers from all genres in a Rock/Folk/Gypsy Jazz style. We have a few regular gigs around Dublin if you would like to come along for a chat.
The ‘Ceili Caller’ Night - to get the guests participating in some Set-Dancing. We work with a troupe of Irish dancers which may be of particular interest to any guests travelling from overseas.
Prices include one rehearsal & amplification. We use an upright RCF Evox 8 Speaker system.
Price negotiable for acoustic set without amplification. Contact us for full price list here: /contact-us
TESTIMONIAL:
"We recently had Sarah May playing at our wedding and accompanied by a guitarist colleague. So many people have commented on how brilliant they were and how fitting their music was to our celebration. From the first time we met Sarah May she listened to our preferences, made loads of suggestions and she went out of her way to make sure we were happy with the choice of music. She is very professional and her personal, relaxed and friendly approach makes working with her an absolute pleasure. If you need somebody to play at your event you should really speak to Sarah, we cannot recommend her highly enough."TESTIMONIAL:
"Sarah and Eamonn provided the music for my wedding in July 2015. They first of all provided the music for our church service at Ladychapel Church in Maynooth. They entertained the guests with traditional Irish music before I arrived to the church and during the service the music they played further brightened our marriage ceremony. Sarah played violin and sang accompanied by Eamonn on guitar.
Sarah and Eamonn also provided a traditional Irish music set for our wedding reception drinks at Barberstown Castle, Kildare. They played lively jigs and reels and kept our guests entertained whilst we were busy having our photographs taken.
Many of our guest complimented our choice of music for our wedding. They loved the traditional Irish music that was played, as most of our guests were not Irish and had travelled from overseas. I received many many compliments on the standard of Sarah's beautiful singing voice!
The music, orchestrated by Sarah on my wedding day was so beautiful and something I will always remember fondly. This is amazing considering that I had never actually met Sarah before I walked down the aisle. I live abroad and communicated with Sarah entirely through email. She was very thorough in asking me questions about the type of music I wanted played at my wedding, she also made excellent suggestions of music choices for me (many that I followed) and she was very knowledgable on a Catholic Wedding Service and had me ask my priest very important questions about the music in mass so that every aspect was thought through prior to the wedding day (which meant my Order of Service included all the music parts). On my Wedding Day, before I arrived to church, I also understand that Sarah was very good liaising in church with my husband and the priest.
I would highly recommend Sarah for any wedding/function."
